Mr President, colleagues must have seen a horrendous leaflet that has been dropped in Aleppo, saying that people should run away or be bombed because the world has forgotten them. I think we should send a clear message that we have not forgotten the people of Aleppo. I ask you to sign, before the end of today, this letter urging EU leaders to demand at the UN General Assembly that a special prosecutor be appointed to investigate war crimes and crimes against humanity in Syria and specifically in Aleppo.
